This policy describes the processing of personal data collected through the site republic-cyberbunker.org, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). This is a draft under legal review.
Data controller
The data controller is the entity promoting the Republic CyberBunker project (Swiss Innovation Hub / Gringotts Group SA). The controller's full details will be indicated in the final version. For any request: info [at] republic-cyberbunker.org.
Data collected
- Contact data provided by the user via the form: name, email, company, role, sector, need and the content of the message.
- Minimal technical data related to browsing and security (e.g. IP address in server logs and for anti-abuse rate limiting).
Purposes and legal basis
- Responding to requests and managing the commercial contact (legal basis: pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest).
- Site security and abuse prevention (legitimate interest).
- Legal obligations, where applicable (legal obligation).
Methods and retention
Data is processed with electronic tools and adequate security measures. Contact emails are sent through a transactional email provider (Brevo). Data is retained for as long as necessary to handle the request and to meet legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised.
Data residency
The project's infrastructure is located in Europe (Veneto, Italy). Any third-party providers are selected with a preference for processing within the EU/EEA; any non-EU transfers take place only with adequate safeguards pursuant to the GDPR.

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, as well as to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, write to info [at] republic-cyberbunker.org.
